FireCommander– Yeah it is just Jan and I at home now. Before the Louisville Costco opened we drove to Cincinnati once a month to visit the store there….and Jungle Jim’s. The bill for that visit would often run several hundred dollars!! Now that Costco is open here in the Derby City we get there more often than monthly.
We will have four of the ten subsets of the Bowen clan over tomorrow. Total count for dinner looks like 10 adults, 2 big teenagers, and 9 kids ranging from 2-13.
Menu- Roast Loin of Pork (with Caraway Seed and natural Gravy)
Oven Roasted Red Potatoes
Green Beans (Southern Smoked Pork Seasoning)
Chocolate Sheet Cake (Ice Cream Optional)
Photos to be added.
BTW Today’s Costco run didn’t hit the $200.oo mark. The tab was $107 even for the items listed above. I seldom get out of there for less than $200, but we avoided the meat and fresh seafood today. Also I don’t drink much wine…so thats another area for which Costco is noted, but I leave alone.[:I]
