Here in Huntsville, AL, most of us call a corndog a "dip dog", only because we had a wonderful place that sold homemade "dip dogs" and you could either eat inside or they had a walk up counter. As with most local spots it is now long gone. But I can never forget eating a dip dog there with lots of mustard. They also had a burger on a stick that they dipped in the same batter as a dip dog and they deep fried it too. It was wonderful and very unique. I think most of us old Huntsvillian’s miss Zestos.
