Harolds off of 41 (I think it’s 2555 Tamiami Trail) makes great burgers and grouper sandwiches. It is in a chiki hut in the middle of a hotel by the pool. I believe there is also a Sushi place called Fujiyama there, although I don’t know much about that place.
Harold’s is where all the locals (45 and over) hang out for drinks after work.
Off of 41, just outside of downtown Naples and off a side street, is a little Cuban deli located within a convenience store. They roast pork for 24 hours there, have good cuban sandwiches and all sorts of homemade cuban specialties. I’ll have to get you the name and the exact location, otherwise you’ll never find it. It is a must stop.
Campiello off of 3rd street in Naples (across the street from Tommy Bahama) has a nice outdoor bar and good pizzas and entrees. It’s a good place to eat or have a drink alone. Same people that own D’Amico Cucina in Minneapolis. Good people watching as well- kind of a local pick-up joint.
Mamma Mia’s off of 41 isn’t bad for pizza, and they make a pretty good meatball sandwich.
Back with more later, including the name of the cuban joint.
