Can’t believe nobody’s yet mentioned banana sandwiches on this thread. A good banana sandwich takes me back to the refreshesments we got at Vacation Bible School as kids. Sliced ripe circles of banana between two slices of soft white or whole wheat loaf bread that has been smeared with a generous amount of Duke’s mayo. These days I like to put mayo on one slice, peanut butter on the other, and the banana circles between. These are best enjoyed with an ice cold Pepsi cola.
