For a sandwich it’s LESS IS MORE ONLY Hellman’s mayo, salt and pepper on white or pumpernickle
I’ve served the basic salad and put out bread triangles with topping of choice like a bowl of capers, sliced green peppers, sweet pickles, parsley, etc etc.
I’ve found that the thinly sliced green peppers are really good when served on rye bread with the egg salad.
