If you want to stop in Jackson, I can recommend three:

Keifers- Greek, best Gyros I’ve ever had and be sure to order the fried potatoes.

George Street Restaurant- Famous Fried Plate and JJ’s Style Red Beans & Rice

Hal & Mals- Great Po’boys and Muffalettas.

All are downtown, just a couple blocks from I-75
