Thanks for all your great replies- were here now- yesterday and last night we got 6-8" of this fluffy cold white stuff- i think they call it snow (being from Miami and all I’m not sure but ive heard)-so we stayed home and had Curtis market pork chops (On Rte 90 just N of Moodys-its shortcut to Camden-comes out above Rockland-near Home DEPOT, and well worth buying steaks, chops, bacon, etc) marinated in local apple cider and fine baked rigatoni ricotta- and delish Giffords strawberry and moose tracks ice cream sundaes-you know b/c it was cold outside-purely medicinal. We had many Moodys donuts and pies, as good as ever,Sarahs for dessert 1 night – great and ridiculously big pieces of cake-peanut butter frostng w/cocolate layer cake- good but non-traditional german choc-coconut creme cheese frosting on/in good layered choc cake,a "sinful"(their name) flourless choc cake(son Sam barely shared,understandably-really good-giant piece)) and very good eclairs. Few disappointments-Primos, Shaws and Sea Gull Cafe(in Lighthouse @ Pemaquid) all closed for season. Weather permitting we are going to Boston tomorrow for weekend and will hit Bacco’s, Johnny’s and other recommendations on sep thread -re: Boston’s best. Thanks all and good eatin’.
