American, Lafayette, National Coney Island are just the "tip of the iceberg" as far as metro Detroit Coney Island restaurants go. There are a couple of dozen other, local, coney places that have their own special ambiance; and passionate boosters, too.

Boy, do I know that,

I probably won’t be going to National (been there before) and I’ve been to Lafayette but do plan to return there, I also intend to try American, Senate, Kerby, Athens, Leo’s and I think the other place is George’s?

I can’t see myself doing more than 3 or 4 coneys at a time.
