We hope to stop at Wild Bill’s while in Memphis, if not we’ll hit Beale for the Blues City Cafe, B.B.’s, Rum Boogie, Black Diamond, you know the usual. Then its off to Helena, the main reason for the trip http://www.bluesandheritage.com/2k6lineup.htm Clarksdale promises Ground Zero, Sarah’s Kitchen, maybe some new juke and a Sunday 11am shindig on the Delta Blues Museum grounds. Sunday night might find us in the Soulard area of St. Louis for one last taste of blues before heading back to Milwaukee. Too bad you couldn’t join us; the former King Biscuit festival is always just an outstanding time with some of the worlds best BBQ both on the grounds and scattered throughout the town. Lots of friendly ghosts from the days of the 78’s floating throughout this town; none bigger than that of Sonny Boy Williamson.
