Memphis used to suffer from New Orleans envy. This seems to be fading but 10-15 years ago they had some remarkable seafood joints serving up the best gumbo’s, po-boys and etoufe�’s north of the La. border. 2 + 2 + 2 which my wife remembers as Oysters Rockefeller, Oysters Bienville and Oysters Florentine is the ap she misses the most. We’ve made maybe 12 visits to this great city and while we love its Q, we miss its seafood.
