Sundancer, I didn’t take any other food pictures on this trip save this one I took just for you.

Of course its your beloved fried chicken along with broccoli with cheese, mustard greens, dressing, mac ‘n cheese, brussels sprouts with the lima beans hidden plus hot corn bread just out of view. Enjoy, we sure did!
We had some outstanding food this trip. Abe’s tamales with chili and cheese and the different kibbe’s at Rest Haven (even/especially the raw one) along with our breakfasts that featured country ham, grits and home made biscuits all really stood out. We stopped at Hick’s only to find it closed with the owner apologizing that he was preparing food for an unexpected family funeral; that touched us deeply.The weather was just perfect and the music was great with us finding some hole in the wall juke joints even more fun than at the festival itself. While I took pics of Ground Zero we never stopped in; too many other good places.
