My suggestion is that the only forum members entitled to make posts re: moving a thread be confined to those who volunteered when the call for additional moderators went out.

I’ll be saying the same thing next fall when people are whining about who’s running in our state’s elections. If they didn’t vote in last week’s primary, their absence of a vote dicated the current candidates.
