It’s a good question, actually.

The problem is that the forum is badly/inaccurately named. The admins of this site have indicated that the FFF forum is really intended for discussion of any eatery that is

a) fast food

or

b) a chain

or

c) both

The name seems to indicate that only those eateries that qualify under item C would be moved to this forum, but early on the admins said otherwise, It was suggested that the forum be renamed appropriate to what they intended it to be, but this never occurred, and I do not think it will occur.

The confusion thereby engendered has continued ever since
