Fascinating, isn’t it. Growing up I could drive north, south, east or west and be out of the state in less than 40 minutes, but it often took half the day to drive to any destination within the state.

Not to mention the time travel involved: in the space of an hour you can go back 5, 6, even 7 decades. [:0]
