The chickens were done on my new, pellet pooper, Traeger smoker. Rubbed with Texas BBQ Rub, smoked for 1.5 hours, and cranked up to 350 degrees to finish off.
I have several bean recipes; these are the easiest and about the best. Fry the chicken skin, at the end throw the onions in and saut�. Add to Bush’s regular beans with some molasses and favorite BBQ sauce, I like to add some chopped green pepper (Not fried) but did not have any. I did them at the end; if I do them ahead I’ll throw them into the smoker for a couple of hours as well.
