For one so knowledegeble I would be interested to hear your experiences with Salmon Penang at Lotus of Siam or the Blue Corn Chip Crusted Halibut at Mesa Grill. Unless you have been there dozens upon dozens of times and have tried all of the strip and off strip establishments then you shouldn’t be making such a broad statement!!!
I just ate at Mesa Grill a couple of weeks ago…not exactly Road Food fare, but well worth the visit. This was my brother’s first trip, and being something of a fan of Bobby Flay, there was no way he was passing that up. One thing I will say about this place…I’m diabetic, and just looking at the dessert menu made my blood sugar spike…so I went with the maple creme brulee. [8D]
I know it’s been mentioned in other Vegas threads, but I’m a little surprised no one has mentioned the Peppermill yet. This was my 7th trip to Vegas, and I finally made a trip there. The food there was absolutely tremendous.
As far as buffets go, we tried the big one at the Rio, but it was just OK for me. Next time, I’ll just stick with Paris or Main Street Station.
