[}:)][}:)]The downtown light show over the street is free and is fantastic. I always enjoyed it with a few drinks. Stand out in the middle of the street, stretch your neck and enjoy the overhead light show with music. Super.

A nice drive from there is Death Valley. I did that a couple of years ago while I was there for the NHRA races. The drive there is just OK except for the town of Phrump or something like that. Probably best if you take your credit card there[}:)][}:)].

The best part of the drive is when you approach the actual valley. Beautiful scenery. Even though I have always heard it was dry, the visitor center indicated that there were about 60 springs available within a short distance. I was there in October and the temp was OK. I imagine if you were there during the summer, it would be awful.
