Be sure and go to Nine Fine Irishmen at New York New York, great food, atmosphere and prices are reasonable. Their shepherd’s pie is the best I’ve had. (Go to the Times Square Bar in the evening, 7:00 I think, for the dueling pianos, GREAT entertainment, so much fun, and it is free, except for any drinks you buy.)
You will really miss out if you don’t get a crepe at the walk-up Creperie at the Paris. Oh my, the Banana’s Foster Crepe with Chantilly Cream is to die for…they also have savory crepes. They make them to order.
The best steak I have ever had was at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris. (and I’m from Texas, where we eat a lot of steak). It is pricy at dinner, but excellent service and superb food. Lunch menu is cheaper for the same quality.
Hope you have a wonderful time, I will post more as I think of things.
