I haven’t had Lake Erie perch since I was a tot. As a matter of fact, a 5 gal. bucket by the cleaning table at my uncle’s Presque Isle (PA) lake "house" was the cause of my not eating any fish that looked like it came from a fish for about 30 years. Fresh Florida Gulf red snapper, grouper, & pompano eventually cured me of the not-eating part but I still have issues with gutting a fish.
