Ed:

You’ve got to make time in Phoenix for the Tee Pee Tap Room on E. Indian School Road.

The place has been there for about 40 years. Good bar and killer margaritas. But try their Sonoran-style Mexican food like a burro served "enchilada style," which means swimming in chile gravy and cheese.

If you are adventurous, you might try their take on a chile relleno. It’s not like I’m familiar with from Texas, but it’s something to try, nonetheless. They bake a huge egg souffle about the size of a football and the chile is buried in the middle. It’s good.

But a word of advice if you go on a weekend. Prepare for a wait. It is worth it, particularly after a couple of margaritas.
