Used to belong to a "gourmet club" where we met once a month to do a meal on a certain theme. For French night I chose the dessert. Crepes suzettes with Grand Marnier. Only problem, by the time dessert came around—–I could only remember "1/2". I therefore wound up having the crepes swimming in 1/2 cup of Grand Marnier instead of one ounce! Everybody finished——but they were all a little worse for the wear when they did!
