I think what you are referring to is called a "Pannekoekun". Obviously, I may have spelled it wrong! We used to have a chain of these "Pannekoekun Huis’" in the Twin Cities and I adored them! My favorite was the Apple Pannekoekun, it had bits of apple in the batter and was served with a scoop of cinnamon ice cream. Come to think of it, it is less like a crepe because it comes out of the oven inflated and it deflated as the waitress ran it to the table.
Now that I think of it my friends mom, who was Scandinavian, made a thin crepe-like pancake and would roll them and serve them with Mrs. Butterworths. I never heard of Mrs. Butterworths before. She called them "skavaars." I haven’t had them in thirty years but can remember how good they were.
Not sure about the name…The Original Pancake House calls it the "Dutch Baby"
