a REAL Key Lime Pie should not even have a hint of green in the filling. I use real Key Limes, only Eagle Brand condensed milk, and 4 jumbo yolks per pie. It’s very simple….beat all the above, pour into shell and put in 350 oven for about 5 minutes (to set only). Remove and let cool. I much prefer real whipped cream versus meringue. I think it’s best served at room temperature.
