Considering ketchup is essentially half sugar / half water, why even bother? I don’t even use it on fries, but then again I avoid frozen potato products whenever possible. I can see where it might be required on such. I’ll pick up a few ketchup packets at fast food places to use on an occasional home grilled burger, but never on a hotdog. Haven’t bought a bottle of ketchup in perhaps 20 years, although we do buy / use some BBQ sauce on pork chops & chicken.
So if you have lemons, and you throw them in the ketchup- you would get lemonade!
