Al, the mutton isn’t going to happen for me on this run. I’m taking the wife (anti-sheep eater), and the son..whom I’m trying to indoctrinate into the world of road food..and he currently doesn’t eat smoked meat of any kind. I don’t think I can make it to Indiana. On Lynn’s..we are early risers but they don’t open until 8 on the weekends so I thought we’d get there a little before that on either saturday or sunday. is there a better day of the two?

ScrumptiousChef – Ken-tex doesnt fit the theme BUT I’m planning on getting down to texas this year for some brisket so I think that one is worth doing. And Burger Boy sounds exactly like what I’m looking for on this trip. Thanks for coming out of hiding and posting that info and the Claudia’s review!
