I never expected to get a response from someone on Yelp! let alone an IMMEDIATE answer.

Anyway, if anyone is wondering this guy says they have about the same amount of sauces and he’d choose this place over The Lube any day.

I’ve been out of country for the past month, otherwise I would have responded immediately.

 

I have been visiting QS&L ever since it opened.  When it opened it was really special; now it’s merely “highly decent”. 

 

I’d hop all over a new place that was anything like QS&L was 42 years ago.

 

Sadly, the QS&L’s that opened here in Dallas a few years ago have since failed (with cause).  It’s always hard to duplicate the original.

 

That said, there is always Five Guys. 

 

Two weeks ago I emerged from King’s Cross/St. Pancras and was shocked to see a Five Guys.  As an ‘original customer’ of theirs (Arlington, VA 1986) I just had to try it.  As always, a great meal.  The locals were swarming the place and loving it while the Mickey D’s across the street was a ghost town.  Who says the Brits don’t have good taste in food!
