Z, If I told anyone out here in healthyland we need a chain of Chicken drive-ins with absurdly cheap chicken, psychedelic yellow gravy and mashed potatoes, + a 3 AM closing time, they’d lock me up as an enemy of the people(and arteries), but GCG is one of my most missed homtown dives.
…extra MSG: the chicken at Strouds always strikes one as "just very good" until one tries to find other places that do it as well; the "hype" is that there really aren’t many places that know how to fry chicken. Stroud’s just does it the way it’s always been done, which seems to be a vanishing breed.
