I heard of Mrs. Peters’ restaurant several years ago on a Discovery Channel Special ’bout good places to eat around the USA. I made a mental note to stop there if in the area. Now, I guess, it’s too late. Anyone for the original KFC?
By the way, Mrs. Peters was interviewed on the TV special and said her secret was to slow fry the chick in a frying pan (not quickly as in a deep fryer) and to use just a simple coating, i.e., flour, salt, pepper over an egg wash.
