I would invoke my general rule #1: Eat places named after locales in which they are not located are verboten, off limits, out of bounds….I learned this after living in a place named after a pickup truck- Scottsdale-and the fact that nobody in Scottsdale was a farmer inclined to use said pickup. This of course, applies to Tacomas, Tahoes, Santa Fes, Sedonas, etc. Have you noticed no one names their trucks after say, East St. Louis, or Staten Island, or South Side of Chicago? I think it’s a case of Pickup bed envy. That said, what Jackson Hole and hamburgers have in common, whether in Wyoming or NY, is beyond me.
