I’d suggest converting the video to Macromedia Flash to increase the speed. Degrade it a bit if need be, but as mentioned above, you probably get more people on dialup then broadband. Another option would be adding a slideshow designed for dialup, so a lower connect speed user has an option. (Have your website detect the connect speed and offer the proper format to view)…

Alot of folks are getting broadband today, mainly at their offices… Home users by far are still on dialup. They do their ‘high speed’ use at the office, and seem to only subscribe to the lower cost at home mainly to check their mail.
