Maybe not your definition. And I’d point out the first line said: Welcome to Caitie Girl s! Springfield s (and possibly the world s) first upscale comfort food dining experience.

Many of the menu items are upscale versions from Sunday dinners in a heck of a lot of Italian/American homes here in central Illinois.

My definition of comfort food is anything served while I was growing up at my parents house especially Sundays. Then,later in my life on Sundays, at my in laws, or parents house.
