apparently some people don’t think any chain is a roadfood chain. Plus, some people seem to have a problem with Chipotle simply because McDonalds invested in the company – even though McDonalds sole interest in the place seems to have been to help make the chain grow in order to make money from its investment. McDonalds sold their stock and made a mint from their original investment, and they kept out of how the restaurant ran. Corporations invest in other coporations all the time. I don’t see why Chipotle should get such a bad name simply because McDonalds made a sound capital investment and got a good return.

In DC we have Baja Fresh and other FF mexican places, IMO, Chipotle is the best. And if they franchised (which I doubt they will, since they haven’t done it by now, even when McDonalds was the major investor) I’d open one near a college campus. You’d make a mint.
