Elise, the Fry Daddy is great for French (Freedom) Fries.

However, I recommend buying a couple of plantains, slicing them super thin, then salting liberally [8)] right after you pull them out of the fryer. Make some aioli to dip, and I’ll just bet that Bob will want to marry you all over again!!!! [:p]
