My appetite for fried foods took several big hits while I was in college. One of my buddies had a small fryer in his kitchen and I don’t know that he ever changed the oil in it. It looked like motor oli and everything he cooked came out looking an unhealthy brown. Not at all golden. Then there was also the roach problem in his building and the occasional floater.
I also worked in a Long John Silver’s for a year and the smell of the grease traps alone could have made Jared thin. (Let’s not even get into the food.)[xx(]
