As someone who lives in NYC, I can tell you the absolure best way to cook a Sabrett’s hot dog.
Step 1: Depending on time and distance, fly or drive to NYC.
Step 2: Find a pushcart.
Step 2(a): if vender is wearing a turban, immediately ascertain whether the "pushcart" is moving as the "vendor" is Indian and you are in a taxi.
Step 2(b): Exit taxi (preferably after it has stopped moving) and approach nearest pushcart or go directly to pushcart, as the case may be.
Step 3: Order desired quantity of hot dogs.
Condiments are usually mustard, sauerkraut, red onion sauce. A few pushcarts have relish (my personal favorite, with mustard).
Any other way, it won’t taste the same, trust me.
