Try birdwatching at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. It’s not near Loveland, but may be worth the trip;

There is an excellent family run Mexican restaurant out that way that I highly recommend. La Casa Del Ray, 7035 E. 72nd Ave, Commerce City. The "La Casa Favorite" is to die for. They’re open for breakfast through dinner.
