I was trying to suggest that if you want to be able to use it as an entrance/exit door….
Your genny and propane tanks – if all mounted on back … will define the space that you have available to put in a door.
Does your tank require a cage of any kind?
WHAT kind and size of genny?
say 2.5 ft for genny
1.75 ft of tank / cage
7 ft of bumper width
You should be able to squeeze a 34 – 36 inch door
But not a whole lota room for an outswing, but at least it should open fully.
What is your largest piece of equipment?
Can it fit through that door?
I have to ask myself these same questions for mine.
My current thought is to go with a standard plain slab steel insulated door.
I have found some locally that are “seconds” for under $100 range.
Get one that is 36 inch width. ( I will NOT be using it for entrance / exit )
With a standard basic door, it is easy to pop off the hinges if I need to swap out any equipment.
Also, it is a “STANDARD” thing ( not a custom thing ) if it ever has to be replaced for any reason.
( accident…break in ….etc. )
A plain slab will blend in better with the rest of the truck.
