My number one seller is Dave’s Insanity. The question most asked of me is if I’ve tasted them all. No! I don’t want a sauce that is made to burn. I want to enhance with a little burn. I’ve done the Dave’s toothpick test and believe me, it was not a good experience.

No my shop is a couple of stores down from an Indian restaurant and they purchase 4 – 6 bottles of Dave’s from me a month. For a few of their customers it’s a table sauce. I would love to be able to go over there and watch someone load of their food and really enjoy it.

I have a couple others, The Bomb and Endorphin Rush that claim to be just as hot as Dave’s and I gave the guys from the restaurant a bottle of each. They claimed that Dave’s has a much better flavor. Flavor???? It’s all burn!

My favorites are no long made. 🙁 Inner Beauty Real Hot and Mosquito Coast Dead Men Tell No Tales. I still have a case left of my Inner Beauty and although I had regulars coming in for it, I will not sell it! Nothing comes close to it.

Dat’l Do It is one of my good sellers and it does have a unique flavor. It’s kind of a bitter hot. They have a wonderful rellish… Hellish Relish. Very good on a hotdog!

I don’t sell Cholula or the Tobasco varieties because I don’t want to have what’s available in the markets around here. I do have my own bottle though. It’s great!

Marie Sharp’s Red is delicious and my new favorite is simply called 911. It’s a yellow Caribbean sauce that is a little different than most of the yellows. If you come across a bottle, it’s very tasty with a good bite. I love putting it into a cream pasta sauce. Trinadad Hot is similar in taste.

I have my sauces semi categorized: Hotest of the Hots, Louisiana, Islands, Mexican, Southwest, Greens and Yellows. Some of the greens and yellows could be in the other categories, but some customers just like green or yellow and it makes it easier to find.

I love Texas Pete’s as a table red and Louisiana Green for my green.

A lot of the sauces are just rebottled and labled Island Sauces. It’s all in the name with some of them.

My favorite name? Slap My Ass and Call Me Sally!

Do you carry "See Dick Burn"? A co-worker brought me a bottle back from Texas. It’s a "hot" to me but it has great flavor. I absolutly love it in chili!
