I spent alot of my years in western New York state. WNY has Sahlen hot dogs and Webers relish & mustard. Charcoal broiled is the established method of cooking. Living in Indianapolis now (no good dogs here) lets me get to Chicago and I’ve tried the Chicago dog and enjoy it just as much as the WNY weiner. I don’t believe there is a best but just alot of great dogs and styles of serving them. The Webers picallili is sweet/hot and just the right compliment to the charcoal dog. It can be ordered over the internet thru Webers.[:D]
