It looks like nobody has added anything to this discussion in nearly 3 months. Maybe it’s a dead horse. Anyway, from what the Hostess people tell me, the availability of certain flavors of pies is seasonal and regional. I live in Tucson and can get the blackberry pies as well as lemon, apple and cherry. On extremely rare occasions I see pineapple and even more rarely, strawberry. I don’t think I have ever seen peach anywhere. Years ago, the berry pies said just "Berry" on the wrapper. I believe they were made with boysenberries or a combination of boysenberries and blackberries. Now the wrapper actually says "Blackberry". Either way I don’t know that I ever noticed a change in the taste. My brother lives in Detroit and cannot get blackberry pies. They were discontinued there many years ago. I buy them here and send them to him. He can get blueberry pies there though. So he sends them to me, although not often enough. It would seem that in this day and age when shipping is relatively fast, that all flavors should be available anywhere in the country.
