When I worked for my local Community College, I made friends with a Chinese student, we had a lot in our ESL program who came via Fermi Lab and some of our other research facilities. She told me that American "lore" is so very popular in China that many young (20 somethings) are getting operations to make themselves taller in order to emulate Americans more. Our movie are huge there, gracious….. a world where Tom Cruise is a god! Shutter! The Hooters news clip I saw yesterday was awful, bad English version of the hoky poky done by young Chinese women who had no figures what so ever!
