I sell 1/4 pound dogs for $3.75 in Denver. I work on a large walking mall and am surrounded by 1-2 dollar dogs, but decided to carve out a niche with some exotic type sausages. Seems to be working. I do get a few walk aways, but am developing some loyal customers. I know a guy that owns about 18 of the Home Depot carts here, he gets $3.00+ for his Johnsonville brats. I believe they are 1/4 pounders as well. You do kind of have a captive audience there, $2.00 sounds cheap.
