I have been strongly tempted for quite sometime to buy a Weber Q300. Several reviewers have said this grill can actually sear a steak unlike most other home grills (at least the ones I have owned) Now I see several grills coming out with an infrared element in the under 1k range . The Q300 runs about $300.
