My father had a weber silver genesis for years and never had one problem with it. When he moved to a fancy new house, he decided to buy a fancy new grill and spent a couple of thousand on a GE. Based on his luck with the weber, that is what I bought. Now, three years later, I called him on Saturday night and he was trying to grill some brats but he couldn’t even get his grill to light, so he had to use his charcoal grill to make them.

I’ve never had one problem with mine. He said he was going to get rid of his as it had been a constant problem and go get a new Weber for the summer.
