I just may be in Ohio that week. I pass through Iowa often coming and going south mostly.

 

I would recommend you find time for the Augusta Restaurant in Oxford, IA. Relocated Katrina hurricane refugees own it and it is an interesting meld of New Orleans influence with Iowa heartland food in a very small town. They adapted and did it well enough to garner an IPPA award for best breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. Looking over their menu they don’t serve a pork chop unless it comes along on their weekly chef special.
