Jesus Guy….you may heve a TON of money, but appearently little tact. You say you came here for advice. When given the advice that those most successful here that minimal involvement in a food service establishment is a formula for disaster you attack the messager.Do you think you make friends by stating the business is "just a dog, a roll, etc???No one here believes that-the business is picking the RIGHT dog, the RIGHT roll, the RIGHT condiments, serving them quickly from the RIGHT location, and with the RIGHT attitude. Frankly, brand identification and marketing pales for most of us until this is done. Anyhow, for the little it may be worth, here is my advise….travel your area and find the best dog you’ve ever tasted and make the owner not your employee, but rather your mentor and your friend. I’ll bet he already makes money, but in symbiosis with your influx of cash, perhaps you both could make more. Recognize that winning at hot dogs may be every bit as tough as what you do. You claim to be a business maven looking for "help" but the only help that can meet your standards would be a partner…and to be a patrner of mine with your attitude would take a shitload of cash.
