essvee said it better than I could. If anyone wants great so-called German food in Vegas, Cafe Heidelberg is the best in town; and it is is reasonably close to the strip.

And like ellen said, Pink’s just isn’t the same as standing in line in L.A. For a great dog, I go to Sammy’s Dog House on S Decatur; the place would easily fit into the Roadfood experience. A close contender is/was the Dog House Cafe on E Tropicana. I haven’t been there in a year as it is quite a drive from my part of town, but at the time, it was excellent.
