I don t mean to discourage you but you are asking for input. 

As a consumer who has hosted several private party events in the past few years. I think $9.95 is a bit high.

Yes I realize it s a novelty but in my area, we have recently hosted the following for $100 We bought 13 pizzas, 4 watermelons & 4 cases of soda & bottle water. This served almost 30 people. This worked out to be around $3.33 a person. Yes we did all the  work

We also had the  Taco People who grilled carne asada & chicken asada. They prepared soft tacos with your choice of the fixings plus rice, beans, salad & soft drinks. Total $250 for 35 people. 2nd & 3rd servings were available once everyone was served. This was around $7.15 a person.

The Hot Dog people also offered grilled hotdogs, soda & hot fresh pop corn. It was $250 we estimated almost 40 people ate. This was just the basic hot dogs with plain buns and the condiments. I warmed up some chili for those that wanted it.

Food was served for 1 � hours only. I agree lower the cost & keep it simple.
