Halvah is a super sweet, very dense middle eastern dessert usually made from sesame seeds or tahini, sometimes marbled with or covered with chocolate. I don’t think that’s what Pheno was referring to.

Of course now I have to stop at Kalustyan’s Middle Eastern Spice Shop on the way home for some marble halvah!
