I would just add a raw egg yolk and some chopped anchovies.

Before all the concerns about e-coli, I remember making hamburger patties with my dad for the grill, and we would never be able to leave the raw meat alone. Raw hamburger, salt, and freshly ground pepper eaten off of pink butcher paper…
